April 18, 2011 Dear Nathaniel- I just wanted to extend a personal note of thanks for helping to make the premiere of "Let's Talk About Sex" such a smashing success! On April 9, millions of people across the country tuned in to the film's broadcast premiere on TLC. We've already heard from many parents and young people that this film helped to start new conversations about sexual health in America — and we'd love to hear from you. If you have a story to share, please take a moment to send us a quick email at viewings@letstalkaboutsexthefilm.com. In our culture, we are too rarely afforded opportunities to discuss sex and sexual health in an open, honest way. I truly believe that "Let's Talk About Sex" can be both a catalyst and a tool to start these important conversations in families, on campuses, and within communities throughout the Unites States. So far, more than 100 people have organized viewing parties to watch the film — in living rooms, for academic classes, and as campus events. If you would like to host a screening of "Let's Talk About Sex" in your area, the film is now available on DVD from Amazon.com or BarnesAndNoble.com. We're working on a map of all of the "Let's Talk About Sex" events from around the country, so make sure to register your event on the film's website so we can include you! (For helpful hints to get the discussion started, you can also download the Viewing Guide.) Thank you again for your support of this exciting project — and for all you do to help make the U.S. a more sexually healthy nation. Sincerely,
![James Wagoner]() James Wagoner President Advocates for Youth P.S. More than 13,000 people have already signed the "Let's Talk About Sex" petition in support of comprehensive sex education in America. Click here to add your name today! |
